the piece is being constructed, researched, transformed and designed.
After several weeks in residence, the team is now halfway through the creative process. An opportunity to take a look (or two) at these moments of work, captured by photographer Patrick Berger, between tenderness and excitement!

A WORD FROM THE CHOREOGRAPHERS 🖋️
Tender Anger is a utopian manifesto, a dancing chimera, a remedy for melancholy, a thumbing of the nose at rage and perdition. An animal piece, full of fury and tenderness, giving way to instinct and the pack. A collective, restorative surge of energy, viral and vital.

Taking our cue from murmuration, which refers to a group of birds evolving together, we seek to question and physically bring into play a form of collective intelligence rooted in a kind of abandonment to the group. Relying on the collective power while participating fully in its evolution, in other words, without ceasing to be a sensitive and active subject.
This poetic figure of personal movement and group carries the problematic of the organized and the unforeseen, and of the rich dialogue between these antinomic notions.
