L’ogresse des archives et son chien, France Culture

L’Ogresse des archives et son chien – The choreography is inspired by the world of fairy tales, its symbols and its characters. In this contemporary tale, big bad wolves, princesses, little red riding hoods and ogres cross paths and metamorphose to question the world around us. From this inexhaustible material, Christian and François Ben Aïm have created a unique and exciting play: “Our desire is to lead the spectator throughout the play to oscillate between dream and reality. On stage, nine performers from different disciplines mix dance with circus arts, in the presence of two musicians who play an original composition live. The enchantment gives way to a universe of strange beauty, with poetic escapes, lulled by the electric sweetness of the music… a show to wake up sleeping princesses!
