With this new play, the two Ben Aïm brothers take children on a journey to the Far North. Astonishing.
To manage to captivate children for 40 minutes with a show that tells them nothing is quite a feat! Proof that children’s imaginations need freedom. With Mirage, boreal souls, François and Christian Ben Aïm transport them to the Great North. Here there is no narrative. Not a word. The two choreographers use multiple stimuli to attract the children’s attention and encourage them to invent their own story. In short, it looks more like contemporary art than theatre. On stage, it is a mixture of dance, video, music and changing sets. Many elements fascinate and raise questions.
