With this first Instantanés (Snapshots), Christian and François Ben Aïm begin a new long-term cycle that will lead them to choreograph a series of tailor-made female solos for different performers. Borrowing from Japanese haiku poetry, their approach seeks to probe the immediacy of emotion without forgetting the unknown and subterranean part contained in the intimate. Montreal artist Anne-Flore de Rochambeau opens this series, designed for all types of spaces, in a portrait of spellbinding harmonies.
