THE HIGHLIGHTS OF MARCH

THE HIGHLIGHTS OF MARCH,
FROM SURESNES TO LUXEMBOURG!

Soli, young audiences, new creations or historical pieces…
In March, the company lives intensely with proposals that reflect the diversity of its repertoire.
A brief overview of the four pieces in the spotlight this month: The dense forest, Snapshots #2, Snapshots #3 and Ô my brother!.

The dense forest

Christian and François Ben Aïm’s universe intertwines with the singular imagination of Mélusine Thiry (author, illustrator and video artist) in a poetic journey between virtual images and moving bodies.

Snapshots #2 - Léa Lansade

Snapshots #2 – Léa Lansade is a nocturnal journey between dream and vigil, set to the music of Ligeti and performed by Quatuor Voce. Both serious and burlesque, the piece is a convocation of enchantment, regression, freedom and evanescence!

DATE OF THE MONTH

Snapshots #3 - Alex Blondeau

The third opus, Snapshots #3 – Alex Blondeau, was created around the theme of night. A new page written in the feminine, with transformation, emancipation and revelation as its guiding principles, like a passage from darkness to light!

Ô my brother!

This sensitive piece, created in 2001, finds its inspiration in the photographic universe of Josef Koudelka. The roughness of gestures is softened by the music of Leonard Cohen, to powerfully evoke the beauty of fraternal bonds, and the harshness and melancholy of exile.
