HAPPY BACK-TO-SEASON!

HAPPY BACK-TO-SEASON!

A SEASON ON THE MOVE!

The 2025–2026 season promises to be rich, intense, and joyfully committed for the Christian & François Ben Aïm company!

On the program: 6 works on tour, a brand-new creation for young audiences A Desert in my Kitchen?, site-specific formats, festivals in France and abroad, creative residencies, and of course, numerous artistic initiatives across different regions to share and create connections.

Through performances, workshops, encounters, and masterclasses, the company continues to pursue what drives it deeply: letting gestures and emotions flow through dance, as close to audiences as possible.

At the start of this season, the company is also drawing closer to two new venues: the Royaumont Foundation and Le Figuier Blanc in Argenteuil, exciting partnerships that open new perspectives for encounters and resonances.

We look forward to seeing you on the road, in theaters, schools, museums, and in all the adventures to come.
Happy back-to-season to everyone!

CHOREOGRAPHIC ITINERARIES 📍

In 2025/26, six works from the repertoire will be touring across France and abroad. From major stages to local venues, from traditional theaters to site-specific adventures, each tour is a chance to share a poetic vision of dance, spark dialogue, and bring the artistic gesture into close resonance with communities.

A Desert in my Kitchen?
A work for young audiences at the crossroads of dance, acrobatics, and text, A Desert in my Kitchen? (February 2026) explores our vital relationship with water and the urgent need to protect it, through a poetic and playful investigation.

Tender Anger
Premiered in January 2025, Tender Anger brings together ten performers in a vibrant choreographic fresco, where collective momentum transforms into a sensitive yet combative force against the world’s violence.

ALL IN JEST
A mischievous ballet that gathers a community of the strange, ALL IN JEST uses humor and eccentricity to question the norm and joyfully celebrate our differences.

The Senseless Community
Echoing the spirit of ALL IN JEST, the choreographers delve into burlesque territory, blending the unexpected with playful indiscipline. This piece explores a dance of surprise, spontaneity, and release.

ARISE
Dance, music, and unusual spaces intertwine in Arise, a sensory quest where movement and sound (Piers Faccini) echo each other, evoking spirituality and elevation in an atmosphere both intimate and powerful.

Bird!
Alongside musician Malik Soarès, Christian Ben Aïm takes the audience on a lighthearted journey where dance and music merge. Bird! unveils visual and imaginary worlds, offering an intimate and moving experience.
